1. Send us a request
It starts on our website, rsawebdesign.co.za. Fill in the contact form with your name, email address, phone number, your industry and a few words about what you need, then send it. You can also call or WhatsApp us on +27 63 786 7684.
A few moments later you receive an email confirming we have your enquiry.
2. We talk, then create your account
We get in touch to understand your business and which plan suits you. Once we have spoken, we create your account and you receive a welcome email. It contains:
- the link to your client portal
- your login email address
- a temporary password
- a short list of the steps ahead
3. Sign in for the first time
Click the link in the welcome email and sign in with your login email and the temporary password.
- Because it is your first sign in, the portal asks you to choose your own password. It needs at least twelve characters, with upper and lower case letters, a number and a symbol.
- We then email you a six digit code. Type it in to finish signing in.
This is called two step sign in. Even if someone learns your password, they cannot get into your account without the code, so your website, your invoices and your business details stay safe. It cannot be switched off, but you can choose to get the code from an authenticator app instead of email. See Profile and security.
4. Complete your profile
The first time you sign in, the portal asks for your details before anything else. This is the one form we ask for up front:
- your name and phone number
- whether this is an individual or a business account
- your business name
- your physical address
- optionally, a separate email address where you would prefer us to send our messages
Your name, business name and address go onto your service agreement and your invoices, so they need to match your actual business rather than a nickname.
5. Sign the service agreement
At the bottom of the same form you sign our service agreement on the screen, with your finger or mouse, and tick to confirm. This is a real signature: electronic signatures are binding under South African law. Read the agreement before you sign. It also explains how we look after your personal information under POPIA.
Check your details and submit.
6. We review and approve your account
Your profile now goes to our team. A person reads it and checks your details, so approval is not instant. As soon as your account is approved we email you, with a copy of your signed agreement attached for your records.
7. You are ready
Sign in again and your portal is ready. As the account owner you can now request your website, set up your domain and business email, and later invite your team.
Your next steps are usually:
- Set up your domain, because a website and email both need one
- Request your first website
- Set up business email, if you want addresses on your own domain
